Ansun Zhong has long been committed to China-New Zealand exchange and public welfare. He is an important Chinese community leader and organiser in New Zealand's South Island, with extensive experience coordinating community organisations, cultural projects and cross-regional cooperation.

He serves as President of the New Zealand Charity Federation and coordinates youth camp, cultural promotion and cross-regional Chinese community cooperation projects.
