The Council is supported by experienced New Zealand educators and advisers who help shape youth exchange, educator participation, school connection and cross-cultural learning.
President, Aotearoa New Zealand Education & Exchange Council
Clare provides strategic leadership for the Council and its education-led exchange work. A nationally award-winning educator, published author and experienced international education practitioner, she brings strong expertise in educational leadership, student wellbeing and cross-cultural programme design.
Vice President | Community Leadership & China-New Zealand Exchange
Ansun Zhong is a long-standing leader in China-New Zealand exchange, public welfare and Chinese community coordination in New Zealand's South Island. His work bridges business, culture, education and grassroots diplomacy.
Committee Member | Primary Education & Inquiry Learning
Kerry is a Council member with experience across psychology, occupational therapy and primary teaching, supporting hands-on learning, student confidence and inclusive programme experiences.
Committee Member | Science Education & Curriculum Leadership
Chris is a Council member and experienced science educator whose work supports STEM thinking, inquiry, curriculum development and student presentation skills.

Brigid is a Council member and creative primary educator known for positive learning environments, strong student relationships and meaningful learning design.
Committee Secretary-General | International Education & Cross-border Cooperation
Ryan serves as Vice President of the New Zealand Suihua Chamber of Commerce, Vice President of the Oceania China Ethnic Trade Promotion Association, Secretary-General of the New Zealand Charity Federation and General Manager of Heilongjiang Geer Education Management Co., Ltd. His work connects international education, youth cultural exchange, study tours, school partnerships, international examination services and cross-border cooperation.
Members contribute professional judgement, education experience and programme insight to support safe, purposeful and culturally respectful exchange opportunities for young people, educators and schools.

Ryan 现任新西兰绥化商会副会长、大洋洲中国民族贸易促进会副会长、新西兰慈善总会秘书长、黑龙江格尔教育管理有限公司总经理，工作重点涵盖国际教育、青少年文化交流、研学旅行、学校合作、国际考试服务与跨境协作。
成员以专业判断、教育经验和项目洞察支持安全、清晰、尊重文化差异的交流项目，使青少年、教育工作者和学校都能在项目中建立真实连接。
