Ryan Zhong is originally from Suihua, Heilongjiang. He serves as Secretary-General of the Aotearoa New Zealand Education & Exchange Council and General Manager of Heilongjiang Geer Education Management Co., Ltd.

Ryan also serves as Vice President of the New Zealand Suihua Chamber of Commerce, Vice President of the Oceania China Ethnic Trade Promotion Association and Secretary-General of the New Zealand Charity Federation. These roles support his work in cross-border communication, community connection and institutional cooperation.

His work focuses on international education, youth cultural exchange, study tours, education tourism, school partnerships, international examination services and cross-border cooperation. Since 2021, he has been involved in the coordination and operation of international examination services through a College Board-authorised test centre, gaining practical experience in standardised exam administration, student services, compliance and cross-institutional coordination.

Through ANZEEC and Geer Education, Ryan works to connect educational, cultural, tourism and community resources between China, New Zealand and wider partner regions, with a particular commitment to practical education links and youth exchange opportunities between Suihua, Heilongjiang and New Zealand.
